About ME…

MIA WASHLE

I love to craft. My craft comes in all shapes, sizes, mediums and subjects….I like to think of myself as a “Jill” of all trades. That’s why I created my small business named A Matter of Craft. You name it, I make it a matter of craft.

I was born in Louisville, KY and now live in Raleigh, NC. I am a wife to the guy who walked me across the creek in the third grade, mom to 3 young men who totally have my heart and Grady the Goldendoodle who is my sidekick. I love to travel, spend time with my family and laugh.

My specialties are sewing, embroidery, paper crafting, vinyl monogramming, chalkboard/wood signs and organizing information to name a few but nothing stops me from trying something new.

I made a sign (pictured right) for my mom at her request several years ago which reads “Dum Vivimus Vivamus” which translates to “While We Live, Let Us Live.” Simply stated and so important to think about a lot of the time. Thank you Mimi.
